2020, am I right?

The world is a little damn crazy right now, I know. With that comes stress. Sometimes it’s unavoidable. If you are like me— when you get stressed your hormones can’t read the room and you get stress pimples. Taking ideas for the zit on my nose.

Stress induced acne is tough, but can be fixed. Here are 3 of my best tips to get rid of unwanted stress pimples.

  1. The obvious. Lower your cortisol levels. Do this by meditating, practicing gratitude to change your brain wavelengths. Calm your mind— it is powerful. Take a peek at my best tips for natural mood boosters here.

  2. Acids. The best acid to fight acne is salicylic. Salicylic acid is a Beta Hydroxy Acid. BHAs are oil-soluble. They work to exfoliate skin and have oil-soluble properties, which penetrates the skin more readily, getting to work on deeper skin problems. Right now, I’m loving Murad Clarifying Cleanser to cleanse my skin after removing my make-up. I then follow up with the Clarifying Toner. Then follow up with the rest of your routine.

  3. Diet. Essential when fighting hormonal and stress induced acne. My advice? Cut out dairy, sugar and junk food. What you put into your body— shows up on your face. I recommend TGA Lemon Water first thing in the morning to detox. Then a green juice, to glow from the inside out.

  4. MY HOLY GRAIL AMAZON PURCHASE. This high frequency wand. High frequency facials are used to treat acne, reduce fine lines and basically zap your skin back into new born baby status. It’s hands down my all time favorite amazon purchase.

  5. Chlorophyll. This mask specifically. Chlorophyll is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory gift from the universe. It creates an environment where bacteria can’t flourish— which means you skin is on it’s way to baby smooth!

In stressful times, it can be difficult to control a lot— let’s let stress zits not be one of those things.
